If haunted attractions are your idea of a perfect Halloween night, Farm of Horrors at Schaefer Farms in Flemington should be on your list. Once the sun goes down, the farm transforms into a terrifying experience filled with haunted attractions designed to put your nerves to the test. Grab your bravest friends and get ready for a night of scares.
For another spooky experience, head to The Red Mill in Clinton for the Haunted Red Mill. The historic site takes on a whole new atmosphere after dark, giving visitors a chance to experience the Red Mill in a way that’s a little more eerie than usual.
Grab Your Coven and Head to Stangl

Looking for a Halloween night filled with costumes, shopping, food and plenty of spooky fun? The Stangl Witch Walk & Moon Market returns for its fifth year with a Haunted Carnival theme.
Stangl transforms for the evening with a Moon Market featuring more than 25 vendors, spooky carnival games, food trucks, extended shop hours and plenty of Halloween activities. Dress up, grab a drink and stroll through Stangl while checking out the vendors and festivities.
The evening also includes a German Witches’ Dance tutorial and performance by EPIC Dance Company, music from Showoff Productions and a Halloween costume contest with prizes for Best Witch, Most Original, Best Haunted Carnival Look and Best Duo or Group.

Halloween isn’t just for grown up ghouls. Families can get in on the fun throughout the county with seasonal activities and community celebrations leading up to Halloween.
The Flemington Kids Halloween Parade & Costume Contest takes place Thursday, October 29 at 5:30 PM in Court Street Park. Kids can show off their Halloween costumes and enjoy a festive evening with the community.
Hunterdon County’s farms and local communities also offer plenty of fall activities throughout October, from pumpkin picking and corn mazes to hayrides and other seasonal fun.
