Christmas with the goats

Forget the crowded ordinary light shows – Discover NJ’s most unique holiday farm experience

What you do: For the hour that you’re here, the main highlight is the goats. There are no fences between you and them – you’ll step right into their pen. You can sit on a hay bale and watch them simply be goats, or walk up and say hello. Sometimes they’ll come right up to you, other times they’ll wander off, and that’s part of the fun. You get to see them just being themselves, on their own terms, all while surrounded by the festive decorations and Christmas spirit of the farm.

During your visit, each guest receives one cup of goat treats to offer. Treat time only lasts a few moments, but it’s the most interactive part of the session. Some goats may gently place their hooves on you to reach the food. They’re 40–60 pounds, so while they won’t climb into your lap, they might leave a little dirt or hay behind. Our staff will guide you on the easiest way to feed them.

Afterwards, if you’re feeling chilly, you can warm up by the bonfire with a cup of hot chocolate (included with admission). Seating is available so you can settle in, sip your cocoa, and enjoy the company of your friends and family as the Christmas spirit runs the farm.

This isn’t a light show or a big commercial attraction. It’s a small, cozy, goat-centered gathering designed to give you and your friends or family a unique and out-of-the-box way to celebrate Christmas together.
