Fireside Dining at The Clinton House

The Clinton House was built in 1743 and is filled with historic charm – from its exposed wood beams and large stone fireplace. The fire is always roaring on a cold day, creating a warm atmosphere, literally and figuratively! A full bar and traditional menu provides options for everyone, whether looking for a fabulous steak or a spectacular burger. Located just steps from the Red Mill and downtown Clinton, it is the perfect place to stop and then enjoy the charming Town of Clinton. 

The Inn at Glen Gardner 

Tucked away in the quaint Borough of Glen Gardner sits the historic Inn at Glen Gardner. Enter inside and take in the large stone walls that build this structure nearly 200 years ago. Take a seat and enjoy a comforting meal at a table or sit at the bar and enjoy a bite and a cocktail!

Cozy Fireside Dining at the Tewksbury Inn

Nestled in the village of Oldwick in Tewksbury Township, this historic Tewksbury Inn has been a mainstay of the community since the early 1800’s. Upon stepping inside, you feel as though you could be in a tavern in the English countryside. At first glance you will see exposed beams, wood floors, and even steps upstairs that slope to the side a bit from years and years of feet going up and down them. A menu filled with many classic items and their own specialties, from Filet Mignon au Poivré to Grilled Duck Breast, this is a can’t miss spot to enjoy. Just around the corner is Melick’s Town Farm and Cidery, the Oldwick General Store, and the infamous Julian Gage Antique Shop. 

The Pittstown Inn

So This is Pittstown! Driving past, those words painted on the barn in their parking lot welcome you to this local haunt. A few steps across the road in the village of Pittstown provide you with a classic country inn feeling – the old stone building. The Pittstown Inn calls themselves a “contemporary American restaurant in the tranquil acres of Hunterdon County” – and we couldn’t agree more!

The Sergeantsville Inn

Just down the road from Hunterdon’s and New Jersey’s last remaining covered bridge sits the stone walled Sergeantsville Inn. The chef uses local ingredients from local Hunterdon farms and across New Jersey. Maybe you will be lucky and find River Bend Farms Daily Cut or Pecan-Crusted New Jersey Fluke on the menu! The exposed stone walls, beams, and large central fireplace make this a truly classic country inn for every visitor to enjoy.

The Lambertville House

Located in the heart of downtown Lambertville on Bridge Street sits the historic Lambertville House. The restaurant menu is an experience in tastefully small plate selections that offer a delicious array of options for lunch and dinner. Views out the windows of this 1800’s community staple provide glimpses at the many unique shopping options in Lambertville, from clothing to antiques and everything in between. Just a few steps away one can walk onto the bridge and look out at the majestic Delaware River too!
