Tucked away in the quaint Borough of Glen Gardner sits the historic Inn at Glen Gardner. Enter inside and take in the large stone walls that build this structure nearly 200 years ago. Take a seat and enjoy a comforting meal at a table or sit at the bar and enjoy a bite and a cocktail!

At first glance you will see exposed beams, wood floors, and even steps upstairs that slope to the side a bit from years and years of feet going up and down them. A menu filled with many classic items and their own specialties, from Filet Mignon au Poivré to Grilled Duck Breast, this is a can’t miss spot to enjoy. Just around the corner is Melick’s Town Farm and Cidery, the Oldwick General Store, and the infamous Julian Gage Antique Shop.

So This is Pittstown! Driving past, those words painted on the barn in their parking lot welcome you to this local haunt. A few steps across the road in the village of Pittstown provide you with a classic country inn feeling – the old stone building. The Pittstown Inn calls themselves a “contemporary American restaurant in the tranquil acres of Hunterdon County” – and we couldn’t agree more!

Just down the road from Hunterdon’s and New Jersey’s last remaining covered bridge sits the stone walled Sergeantsville Inn.
