DESCRIPTION:The Rob Lanter Trio has been around for at least twenty years in different configurations playing in the tri-state area\, New York\, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. \n\n\n\nRob studied at the Berklee College of Music majoring in Composition and guitar. He has scored several independent films\, and has produced numerous recordings. In the 1980’s\, his jazz fusion group Orpheus recorded for Polydor Records and toured extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada playing clubs\, concerts and jazz festivals including the Montreal Jazz Festival. \n\n\n\nThe Rob Lanter Trio plays a combination of contemporary jazz standards with original compositions combining jazz\, funk and blues. They are also in the process of recording their first album/CD in this configuration. Rob’s music can be heard at www.roblanter.com.
