DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 2-day\, in-person course that focuses on everything you need to know for a successful first year with goats.\n\n\n\nFebruary 22 & February 23\, 2025 9am-4pm. BONUS- this offering includes a complementary invitation to attend the Miracle of Birth\, March 8 or 9\, 2025 at the farm. This is a special opportunity to be at the farm while farmer Maria and Matt are delivering baby goats. This is ONLY offered with our February Goat School course. \n\n\n\n\nEach day includes classroom instruction and discussion in the morning and early afternoon at the workshop facility in Rosemont\, NJ. The day wraps up with hands-on experiences with the goats at Gorgeous Goat Creamery\, just 4 miles down the road. Lunch and snacks are provided each day. \n\n\n\nYou’ll get the opportunity to try trimming hooves\, administer deworming medication\, give a routine vaccine\, and milk the goats. In addition\, you will leave with the Goat School Manual for reference and expertise at your fingertips. This immersive experience is more than you can ever gain from YouTube or an online course.
