Wine Tasting reservations are available\, as well as first come first serve seating to enjoy wine by the glass or bottle (as space allows). \nJoin us on Sunday\, 3/23\, for Jeff Petescia’s Beneduce Vineyards debut!  \nJeff is a talented solo musician with an impressive setlist of originals alongside some incredible covers. He is 1/3 of Cold Weather Company\, who we look forward to having perform on the outdoor stage on Saturday\, May 10th! \nHere’s a bit about Jeff: \nAs a kid I used to have dreams I could play guitar\, waking up disappointed each time as I realized it wasn’t real. I always loved music growing up\, but it was my first concert that finally pushed me to begin teaching myself guitar in my early teens (along with a bit of jealously seeing YouTubers my age covering my favorite songs). I also realized that time invested into Guitar Hero 3 was much better spent on the real thing. \nThe only guitar in the house at the time was my sister’s right-handed acoustic\, so I began playing everything upside down because for some reason I am left-handed when I play guitar (or hold a hockey stick/golf club). I am right-handed (or footed) with everything else. Rather than flip the strings or eventually purchase a left-handed guitar\, I committed to playing with the strings inverted. \n16 years later\, I’m continuing to do what I love in multiple projects\, the main one being Cold Weather Company. We’re currently finalizing our fifth album. \nI am so excited to share my new solo EP “Far Beneath the Sun” out 1/5/24. You can listen and read more about it on my News page.  \nAll my solo music is available on all streaming platforms under Jeff Petescia. \nYou are welcome to bring in your own prepared outside food and non-alcoholic beverages as well. We will then take a short hike around the Dvoor Farm to practice using them! \nThis event is free but space is limited – we ask that you RSVP to save your spot! \nWe are grateful for support of this program by the National Park Service’s Lower Delaware Wild & Scenic River Program\, which aims to protect the natural\, cultural\, and historic values of the Delaware River.

Fred Walker was known as a pioneer when it came to shearing in the alpaca & llama industries and Linda Berry Walker was a fiber and textile matriarch in the alpaca world. WoodsEdge’s history is steep in breeding fiber producing livestock for end-use products. Today\, we carry on their legacies and celebrate the WoodsEdge vision as we prepare to shear at our 49th Annual Shearing Fest. \nIn the world of alpacas & llamas\, “harvest time” comes much earlier than autumn. In fact\, it usually occurs in the spring. Shearing Day is when the annual fleece growth is shorn off the alpacas & llamas to prepare them for comfort as the hot summer weather approaches. Watch the first step in our Field to Fashion process where we harvest luxurious fiber that is converted into functional and fashionable items. The WoodsEdge Farm Store will be open for your shopping pleasure. Attendance & parking are free. Event is rain or shine. Dogs are not permitted.
